Guide to the Site
The general navigation structure is as follows.
- The Home section gives an introductory page, along with two menus, covering information about the site and the specification itself, which has been developed and agreed over time.
- The About section gives general context for what Leap2A is and why.
- The Specification section details the actual specification. There is a technical core specification presented as one document, and many interlinked pages giving more information and guidance about the different parts of the specification.
- The Implementation section will be of particular interest to those who wish to implement the specification.
- Finally, the Resources section offers links to much other related documentation.
Outside this navigation structure are three other vital components.
- The core specification is reproduced as a separate page to reduce the navigionatly clutter and make it easier for printing out, for those who want to consult the definitive specification.
- The namespace used for Leap2A is http://terms.leapspecs.org/ — and following the principles of useful URIs, this resolves to a page where all the terms are described, linking to further documentation back in the main specification.
- A rendering and validation service is also offered on this site, so that anyone may display the content of Leap2A files, and receive notice of some irregularities that may hinder portability.
Finally, for comments, suggestions, discussion and drafts of future versions, please see
the Leap2A Wiki site.
